Irini Qirjako is one of the most distinguished voices of Albanian folk and polyphonic music, with a career spanning over three decades. She completed her studies at the Artistic High School and the Academy of Arts, building a strong professional foundation in music. Widely recognized as one of the golden voices of the Albanian National Folk Ensemble, she has represented Albanian culture on major national and international stages. Her performances across Europe, including numerous appearances in France, have been highly acclaimed by audiences. She has collaborated with one of Albania’s most renowned composers, Edmond Zhulali, contributing to both traditional and contemporary productions. She has been awarded the prestigious title “Grand Master” (Mjeshtër i Madh) by the President of Albania. In total, she holds 13+ awards, titles, and professional recognitions, reflecting her artistic excellence. Known for her powerful and authentic voice, she continues to actively perform in concerts and cultural events in Albania and internationally.

Petrit Lulo, widely known as the “Nightingale of Gjirokastër,” is one of the most respected voices of Southern Albanian folk music and refined urban folk traditions. For decades, he has conveyed to audiences the finest values of Albanian folklore. He has participated in numerous festivals organized by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar, as well as many other events up to the present day. His singing style remains unmatched, and he continues to uphold the authentic values of Albanian folk music with dignity and dedication. Throughout his artistic life, he has experienced many special moments, which remain among his most cherished memories. While many recognize him primarily as a performer, Petrit Lulo has also spent many years composing his own songs. In an interview given to a newspaper, the singer-songwriter emphasized that polyphony is a great value within Albanian folk creativity, and over the years it has given him a lot—remaining, in his view, truly unique.

Vaskë Curri, also known as the “Nightingale of Përmet,” joined the Military Ensemble at the age of 18. After completing his military service, he became active at the House of Culture in the city of Përmet, where he performed with the group of Laver Bariu and alongside Elena Gjika at the National Folklore Festivals of Gjirokastër, as well as in numerous other concerts both in Albania and abroad. He has participated in international festivals across Greece, Romania, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, the Netherlands, and beyond. After the group disbanded in the early years of the democratic period, Vaskë continued his artistic journey as a solo singer, releasing six albums of traditional Southern Albanian folk music. Despite being over 70 years old, he remains actively engaged in his artistic career, continuing to compose and perform live as one of the finest voices of Southern Albanian folk music. He is still active today, having released three new songs in the past 12 months.

PONI is one of the most recognized voices of Vlora’s traditional folk music in the post-1990 era. Born on November 8, 1981, she began her artistic journey early, studying vocal performance at the “Naim Frashëri” Music School in Vlora and performing at the “Petro Marko” Theatre. With over two decades of career, 7 albums, and hundreds of concerts across Albania and internationally, she has become a leading figure in modern Albanian folk. PONI is known for blending authentic Labëria roots with contemporary production, pioneering a modern approach to traditional music. Her breakthrough hit “Si Trendafil” brought major recognition at Top Fest, earning her the Internet Prize. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Shyhrete Behluli, Dr. Flori, Artiola Toska etc. A songwriter of over 20 lyrics, she has also contributed to the composition of many of her songs. Awarded for preserving and evolving Vlora’s folk music, PONI continues to represent the identity and emotion of Albanian traditional sound worldwide.

Ervis Behari is a renowned Albanian folk singer, recognized for his powerful voice and emotional performances. Born on July 31, 1993, in Kraps (Fier, Mallakastër), he grew up in a family deeply connected to traditional music. From an early age, he developed his passion for music, learning keyboard and performing at family and community events. His professional career began in 2015 with “Këngët e vendit tim”, followed by a series of successful releases reflecting Albanian traditions and family values. His heartfelt song “Nënë” stands as a tribute to his late mother and remains one of his most emotional performances. Ervis gained major recognition with the hit “Dajo”, a song that became part of countless Albanian celebrations. He has also performed in major events such as “Këngë Moj” Marathon, connecting strongly with audiences. Blending traditional folk with modern elements, Ervis Behari continues to represent a new generation of Albanian artists on a growing international stage.
